Last month I sent an email out to my readers asking if they had any myths in their mind about meditation. One reply brought up a concern that I think perhaps you all might share?
1. Create a Calm Environment: Find a quiet space where you can sit comfortably without interruptions. This helps signal to your mind that it’s time to relax.
2. Practice Pranayama: Incorporate breathwork, such as Ujjayi breathing, to calm the mind and prepare the body for meditation. Pranayama helps regulate the breath, reduce stress, and enhance focus.
3. Set an Intention: Before you begin, set a clear intention for your meditation. This could be cultivating peace, gaining insight, or simply being present.
